I am a wannabe.
Singer, actor, yoga instructor, nurse. Writer. Tried singing - didn't have the stamina.
Since writing is free and mostly within my grasp, It's About Time to give it a try;

After 22 moves in 32 years, we find ourselves back in sunny CA. NorCal as it is now called. And yes, it is very sunny! Especially after 2 years in Portland (which I miss terribly, not to mention my sis :(... )
John is back with ValleyCrest (for the 4th time) and we are getting settled into a nice routine. I am immensely enjoying the life of a homemaker once again, and am busy making friends through various MeetUp.com groups I've joined. Walking/hiking, Book Club, Bunco. Life is pretty good.
Next week Mom Maria (John's mother) is coming to stay. We have her room ready, and are looking forward to getting her settled here. We're happy, the dogs will be happy, and I'm pretty sure she will be happy too. Although she is still capable, I am taking on the role of 'Caregiver' - and she will be my new responsibility. The future is uncertain (really?) and I'm a wee bit scared; but we have a strong foundation (John and I have weathered lots of storms) and I'm confident that we will be OK. I'll keep you posted!
